Up for grabs is an absolute masterpiece for collectors and players alike: a Crafted in Japan (CIJ) ’69 Reissue Mustang in the highly coveted Old Lake Placid Blue finish, complete with a factory-matching headstock.What makes this specific instrument an undeniable piece of Fender history is the serial number stamped on the neck heel: T000001. This is the literal first guitar produced in this entire production block, making it a true 1-of-1 historical anomaly. The previous owner had it signed by a Japanese guitarist but we had the signature professionally removed. You may be able to see a slight shadow in the laquer but it is so faint we could not capture it in a photo.
