The 1974 Greco RB-800 is a highly sought-after, premium Japanese "lawsuit-era" copy of the iconic Rickenbacker 4001/4003 bass guitar. Manufactured at the legendary FujiGen factory (and occasionally Matsumoku during this era), the RB-800 was Greco's top-tier Rickenbacker replica. It is widely praised for its exceptional build quality, often rivaling or exceeding the real American models from the same time period. Factory-loaded with two Maxon "Wide Range" bass humbuckers. It includes a dual mono/stereo output system (mimicking Rickenbacker's Rick-O-Sound) and independent volume/tone controls.
